Ramco Community Services has been appointed as the Project Management Unit (PMU) to drive two of Rajapalayam’s most critical urban missions: the implementation of the Rajapalayam Master Plan 2041 and the town’s ambitious journey towards carbon neutrality.
A tree planting project is underway in and around the six educational institution campuses in the trust land in Rajapalayam. The afforestation project aims to improve ecological balance in the region, focusing on restoring degraded land, improving air quality, and increasing green cover.
The project is designed for education and creation of Upcycled Art and Design. The goal is to sensitize the community about waste and create functional art and design from the generated ‘waste.’
The Auroville Botanical Gardens conduct an assessment survey of the Sacred Groves of Tamil Nadu, with the objective to assess their current health and compare them to the previous studies.
