Ok Upcycling Studio

Ok Upcycling Studio is located in Auroville. This studio came to be from a desire to do something about the waste generated around us.

The Studio’s first approach to the issue of Upcycling is to raise awareness about waste and its disastrous effects on the planet. Its mission is to change the perception of waste in people’s minds and reduce the burden on landfills.

Their aim is to instill among all fellow beings a conscious approach to waste that would bring about a change good for the environment and that would nurture a healthy life on this planet.

One of the ways that the Studio achieves this, is by organizing Upcycling workshops for the corporate sectors, schools and individuals.

Ok Upcycling Studio is actively involved with Ramco Cement and Rajapalayam schools to develop Upcycling projects and to find ways of using their waste for art installations and other practical uses.

For Ok Upcycling Studio, waste is precious!

As a team they create objects of art as well as of utility and thus give a second life to “WASTE”.
