Project

Ātmaprasāra is a volunteer-led initiative that provides free and confidential counselling services for those who are looking for emotional support during turbulent times.

Ātmaprasāra in Rajapalayam

Ātmaprasāra is enabling a society where mental wellness is a priority, not a stigma, and is building Rajapalayam as an example for the rest of the country by creating an environment where

  •  The mental health of the community and every individual in it is critically important

  • Equality and inclusivity are core values with a specific focus on the wellbeing of women in the community

  • Rajapalayam wakes up to the need for change and the importance of being an adaptable,
    resilient, and dynamic city

Counselling Services

A Sanskrit term that means ‘Flowing with the Soul,’ Ātmaprasāra is implemented in partnership with Anna Chandy & Associates. More than 50 clients have utilized Ātmaprasāra’s counselling services since the initiative was launched in early-2021.
