Community Development
Intended for underprivileged communities typically in villages, we devise programs that help them become self-sustainable and enable a better living. Our programs span a wide range of areas such as child nutrition, health and education, sanitation and hygiene, agricultural livelihood and sustainability.
Environment
A focus on environmental protection, optimizing resource management, conserving biodiversity and effective waste management are important considerations for us. We work with some of the finest experts in the field to ensure our environmental and waste management practices are best-in-class.
Education
Ramco and its trusts are focused on providing education for the youth as the first step towards a sustainable future for all. This is in line with UNESCO’s charter of seven inter-related sustainable development goals to be achieved by 2030, when India’s contribution would be 50% or more.
Health and Well-Being
Ramco is committed towards the well-being of people both from a physical and mental aspect. We extends services to our immediate community. In this way, we aim to foster a healthy environment.

News from the Projects
Tree planting initiative in Rajapalayam
A tree planting project is underway in and around the six educational institution campuses in the trust land in Rajapalayam. The afforestation project aims to improve ecological balance in the region, focusing on restoring degraded land, improving air quality, and increasing green cover.
Sri Ram Primary School
Sriram Primary school is a Government aided co-educational school of classes from grade 1 to 5. The School was founded by Sri Dharmarakshakar P.R.Ramasubrahmaneya Rajha (the former chairman of the Ramco Cements Ltd.) on 01.08.1962.
Ramco Balavidya Kendra
Ramco Balavidya Kendra was founded in 2011 by our former chairman Gurubhaktamani along with Dharmarakshakar Shri. P.R.Ramasubrahmaneya Raja and Smt. R.Sudarsanam with the vision of creating a strong foundation for young minds. The school's motto is "Roots to Fruits," representing the school's mission to nourish young minds holistically.

P.A.C.R Sethuramammal Primary School
Shri. P.A.C.R.Sethuramammal Primary School was founded in 1958. It initially functioned on a makeshift arrangement in the Gandhi Kalai Mandram as ‘P.A.C.R Ammani Ammal Primary School.’ In 1979, it was relocated to the present campus in Rajapalayam and given its current name.
TAKM Ramammal Primary School
Ramco Group founder and visionary Shriman P.A.C. Ramasamy Raja founded this primary school in 1950. The primary school aims to impart high-quality holistic education to children. The school is driven by the motto: “Education and intelligence being the eyes of our vision.”
P.A. Chinniah Raja Memorial Higher Secondary School
P.A. Chinniah Raja Memorial Higher Secondary School (PACM HSS) was established in Virudhunagar district in 1950 by visionary industrialist and founder of Ramco Group, Shri. P.A.C. Ramasamy Raja as a part of a larger education initiative.
RAMCO Industrial Training Institute
Former Ramco Group chairman Shri. P.R. Ramasubrahmaneya Raja established RAMCO Industrial Training Institute in 1993 to impart technical skill development among the children of workers in the Rajapalayam area. It is now managed under the able leadership of the sitting Chairman, Shri. P.R. Venketrama Raja.
